Flights to Kingston, Jamaica's cancelled

AIRLINES have cancelled a number of flights to and from Jamaica's capital, Kingston, as violence erupts between security forces and armed gangs.
Air Jamaica said it was calling off three flights from violence-wracked Kingston, two of which were headed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the other bound for New York.
American Airlines called off service between Kingston and Miami.
But British Airways - which is also hit by a strike - and Virgin Atlantic maintained plans for overnight flights to London.
Governments have warned against travel to Kingston due to the flare-up in violence as the government seeks to arrest powerful kingpin Christopher "Dudus" Coke, who is wanted in the United States on drug trafficking charges.
