ELEPHANT MAN EXCITES SUMFEST PATRONS
Many artistes brought their ‘A’ game to the Reggae Sumfest stage on Dancehall Night, Thursday July 23 and deejay Elephant Man was definitely one of the standout acts.
Known for his authentic designer garb, Ele took the dressing to a new level and came in an outfit reminiscent of the tin man/toy soldier. Once Elephant Man took centre stage, it was clear that it was all over. He deejayed, danced and excited patrons with his one-of-a-kind antics. Among his songs were the ever popular Nuh Linga, Signal The Plane, Pon Di River Pon Di Bank, Log On, Higher Level, Get Jiggy, Gully Creeper and Nuh Linga, which all put the massive crowd in a sing-along, dance-along mood.
Always a leader and trendsetter in the dancehall, Ele had a secret weapon – Michael Jackson — in whose memory the festival was dedicated. It would be more accurate to say that Ele brought on stage a Michael Jackson look-alike who had the late King of Pop dance moves down pat.
It was a sight to behold ‘MJ’ and Ele on the Sumfest stage dancing like only Mike can and eliciting screams of sheer delight from fans. The crowd simply loved it and enjoyed every second of this dynamic performance.
Elephant Man again demonstrated why he is considered one of the top dancehall acts in the business today.
