FLIPPA ROCKS CHAMPIONS; SAYS MONEY-THROWING DAYS ARE OVER

Following his awesome performances at Reggae Sumfest and A St Mary Mi Come From, Flossing King Flippa Mafia made it three in a row as he rocked the massive at Champions In Action early Sunday morning and left them wanting more.

It was a performance worthy of a King as Flippa demonstrated why he is considered dancehall royalty. In a no-nonsense mood, the jovial entertainer swaggered on stage and got down to the real business of entertaining his ever-growing throng of fans. He was there to give — musically and otherwise — and they were more than eager to receive.

Known for his on-stage antics which earned him the moniker King of Flossing, Flippa went through his repertoire of dancehall hits, including his number one song, Unfinished House. “Mi vehicle cyan dearer than mi house, nor mi rims cyan dearer than mi couch,” he deejayed the first line of the song and his fans totally took over.

But, while Flippa, as many expected, took the excitement level up a few notches with his money-throwing into the crowd, he also made an announcement which perhaps surprised many. The King of Flossing announced that his bills-throwing days were coming to an end as he would be using his dollars in what he said was a more charitable way. He is in the process of establishing a foundation to help needy children.

Speaking to the press after the show, Flippa said he enjoyed the look of joy on patrons’ faces as they pocketed the money he threw out into the crowd. “I’m all about making people happy and enjoying the good. It’s there for all of us. But, on the other hand, there are so many kids out there who really need help that I figure it’s best to put this money in a more structured way and bring them some joy. I know my fans will understand this,” the Flossing King said.

Flippa is scheduled to perform at a number of overseas gigs in the coming weeks.
