Chronixx releases statement denying "alleged beating"

An official statement has been released from Reggae Artiste Chronixx's
management team with regards to reports that the Artiste was beaten by security personnel after his performance in Paris recently.

It's being rumoured that the "Dread and Terrible" Artiste and his team had an altercation with members of the security personnel after their performance at La Cidale in Paris on April 6.

However, in an official statement, Chronixx's music group, his Managers and Booking agents says "the report is false and that there was no altercation whatsoever between members of the Chronixx team and security providers at the show".

It further states that "There was also no incident involving Chronixx or any member of his team where anyone was beaten, nor was there any incident involving security personnel with high powered weapons and baseball bats as alleged in the report".

The Entertainer and his team also said in the statement, that "they will be taking legal action against the source of the rumour, as not only is the report false, but is very damaging to the credibility and good name of Chronixx and members of the Chronixx Music Group team".

In the meantime Chronixx is on his Dread and Terrible European tour which sees the young entertainer making various stops across the continent.

Chronixx Got A Beat Down in Paris France

At a reggae concert in Paris France at the La Cigale venue on Sunday April 6th, the performers (Barrington Levy, Chronixx, Kelissa, Dre Island and French Roses Band) and their immediate parties were all asked to wear identifying armbands in order to have access to the stage and back stage areas. But according to an eyewitness, Chronixx and his party refuse to wear the armbands and proceeded to rough up the security guards. After his performance was over and unbeknownst to him, a group of guards with high powered weapons and baseball bats were waiting in the wings for them. It was reported that the beating that Chronixx and his posse suffered was horrendous, they ran for their lives and sought refuge in a chateau.  The occupants of the chateau hid them and had to call for the French Authorities in order to save them.

Cream of the Crop for Ocho Rios, Jamaica

The people of Ocho Rios, St Ann, and its environs, wi
ll have at least one item on this Christmas wish list granted this year: a high quality live entertainment show in the resort town.

St Ann, Jamaica - This year, courtesy of Purple Skunkz Entertainment, the town will host 'Cream of the Crop' which is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Cruise Ship Pier. Some five major acts are billed to perform along with several supporting acts.

Jah Cure, Romain Virgo, I-Octane, Mavado and Chronixx are the headlining acts. Supporting acts include Kabaka Pyramid, Dre Island, Kelissa, Keznandi, Jah Bouks, Iba Mahr and Nature.

The Purple Skunkz Entertainment team comprises Wayne 'DJ Wayne' Morris, Ainsworth 'Big A' Higgins, and DJ Smurf. Each has years of experience in event and show promotion.

Ainsworth Higgins, co-promoter of the event, believes that 'Cream of the Crop' has the high-powered line-up and the formula to be a roaring success.

"As the name suggests, this show is designed to showcase the artistes who are among the best and at the top of their game. Each artiste was carefully considered before being chosen, and had to satisfy the criteria of currency, catalogue, performance (stage) and professionalism," Higgins said.

The event is geared at residents of Ocho Rios and surrounding areas, as well as visitors who usually converge on the tourist resort area during the festive season. In recent years, there has been a departure of a number of well-known events that has left a void on the entertainment calendar, with residents having little choices for entertainment.

The Cruise Ship Pier will create the perfect ambience and infrastructure to host this high-class entertainment event because it is centrally located and is within walking distance from a number of adjoining neighbourhoods. The pier has also had a long history of successful events.

Come Saturday, patrons can expect a first-class event with high-energy performances. Special attention will also be paid to the tight security measures that will also be in place to ensure the safety of patrons.

CHRONIXX CANCELLED JUNE 9TH, 2013 HARTFORD PERFORMANCE

Hartford, CT (May 29th, 2013) Last night is was brought to our attention via email that reggae artiste Chronixx will not be able to honor his commitment to perform at the West Indian Social Club of Hartford, CT on Sunday June 9th, 2013. This comes after months of preparation & promotion & days; after we were forced to postpone the original date.
When we were contacted just days before the original show we were told by Chronixx’s management; that the issue would be resolved in time for the new date. We printed new materials bought more ads.
Just to receive a brief email saying 'oops sorry' we can't make that one either? We were informed by His management that the issue to file the required travel documents is the result of 'feet dragging' and waiting until the last hour to handle what should have been done earlier.
Chronixx ‘s management approached us about staging this event, we poured our hearts & time into promoting not only the event but the artiste. We received nothing but unprofessional conduct from taking a month to receive advertisement vocals to this latest unfortunate series of events.
On behalf of Bigga Yard, DNZ Productions & Billionare Ent we would like to offer refunds to all ticket holders & extend our humblest apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this lack of consideration on the part of the artiste.
We strive to bring quality events to CT & will continue to do so. We are seeking legal
Counsel for compensation.
Thanks for your patience and understanding with this matter.
