MR. VEGAS' MAN A GALLIS/SASSA STEP SELL OFF
Calling all dancers. Pay attention. Singjay Mr. Vegas and director Jay Will have just raised the bar when it comes to Jamaican dance videos with their latest Man a Gallis/Sassa Step collaboration. The feedback
so far has been phenomenal and to use the local parlance, everybody agrees that the video 'sell off'.
Music insiders who’ve seen Mr. Vegas’ latest Man a Gallis/Sassa Step video are already calling it “one of the best dance videos ever done”, and a major breakthrough in how Jamaican dances are filmed,
choreographed and interpreted for presentation in the international marketplace.
Mr. Vegas’ video premiere of his latest project, Man a Gallis/Sassa Step was a big riproaring success at SOBs in New York City on Monday night September 28th, 2009. The video premiere wowed the audience in the venue and they broke into a round of sustained applause, shouts, whistles and finger gun salutes at the end.
Afterwards, the birthday boy Mr. Vegas hit the stage and had his supporters in a frenzy as he thrilled them with a delightful mix of his biggest hits such as Heads High, Hot Wuk, Tek Weh Yuself and I Am
Blessed. However, even though Vegas’ performance was great, it was the video premiere which was the real star of the night and the centrepiece of the conversations after the show with many people
complimenting the artiste and his collaboration with acclaimed video director Jay Will to showcase an integral part of Jamaican culture.
With the video having its premiere in New York, the rest of the world will get their turn to see what everyone in the Big Apple is raving about when the video is premiered this Wednesday, September 30th at the Stone Love Headquarters in St. Andrew. The video premiere will be held between 8 and 10 p.m. after which is the weekly Weddy Weddy dance.
All dancers are invited to come out and be a part of this incredible experience.
