Gallis/sassa step video for next week
The Sassa Step/Man ah Gallis video shoot has been postponed until next week Tuesday, August 25th. The dancers have been using the extra time to rehearse the choreographed moves for both videos. The video is being directed by celebrated v ideo director Jason ‘Jay Will’ Williams who has hired two choreographers, one for each video.
“Jay Will is going to make a statement with this dance video because this is the first video he is doing since Wacky Dip and he is pulling out all the stops. I have been to some of the rehearsals and I can
tell you that this video is going revolutionize how dance videos are done,” one source said.
In the meantime, Shy N, the 2007 Dancehall King for Japan who won the Internet Sassa Step contest to appear in the video, has been popping up at Kingston’s infamous dance sessions, learning new moves and finally experiencing some of the great vibes he’d only experienced before on dance DVDs.
“I am having good time, going to the sessions like Boasty Tuesday, Weddy Weddy, Passa Passa and finally seeing some of the places where the sessions keep for myself and not just on DVD, you know,” Shy N said.
Most Internet voters will remember that Shy N, who hails from Japan, had compiled a pretty nifty video on youtube where he demonstrated the Sassa Step on a sidewalk which ran parallel to a graffiti-decorated wall, and incorporated his routine with break-dancing as well. He is expected to play a prominent role in the Sassa Step segment of the video.
